How to Change Login Password for SBI Online
Follow these steps to change login password for State Bank India (SBI) Online:
- First of all, visit SBI Internet Banking Page or directly from here: https://retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm
Change Login Password - Click on ‘Continue to Login’ and then enter your username and password to log in to your internet banking account
- Your dashboard will open. From dashboard go to ‘Profile’ option from the above menu bar
- Now in Profile menu, go to ‘Change Passwords’ to continue
- Next, enter your ‘Profile Password’ to continue
- Now, enter your old login password, new login password and re-type new login password which you want to set
- After that, click on ‘Submit’ option
- You will receive success message in the screen. You will also receive text message in your registered mobile number
- Congrats! You have successfully change login password for State Bank of India (SBI) online
Note:
- Profile password should not match the login password
- Password length should be greater than 8 and less than 20 characters
- Password should contain at least one digit [0-9], one alphabet [A-Z] [a-z] and one special character such as [@#&*!]
- Please avoid choosing a password that is generic in nature, guessable or inferable
- Avoid password from your personal data such name, date of birth, address, telephone number and car number
- It is good practice to commit your password to memory rather than to write it down somewhere
- For security reasons, keep changing your password at regular intervals
